Position Overview:
Attorney Met Lane is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant. This role involves a mix of litigation support, estate planning and administration assistance, and direct client interaction. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to the attorney
Assist with estate planning and estate administration matters
Support estate, contract, and property litigation cases
Draft, prepare, and respond to discovery, including interrogatories and requests for production
Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and filings with accuracy and attention to detail
Manage the attorney calendar, including scheduling client conferences, motion hearings, and trial datesQualifications:
Prior experience as a legal assistant, preferably in litigation
Familiarity with estate planning, estate administration, and civil litigation procedures
Experience preparing discovery documents (interrogatories, requests for production)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office SuiteHow to Apply:
