Executive Director - Carroll County Mental Health Advocates

The Board of Directors of Carroll County Mental Health Advocates (CMHA) is searching for a full-time Executive Director. 
Carroll County Mental Health Advocates is a nonprofit organization dedicated to be the missing link for individuals and their families impacted by mental illness and addiction.  
The Executive Director is the key management leader of Carroll County Mental Health Advocates. The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the administration of the nonprofit organization and serves as supervisor for up to 8 full- and part-time employees.  The Executive Director will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to grants and manage the organization’s annual budget and monthly financial statements.  The Executive Director will lead the development of programming and fundraising and will work collaboratively with the Board of Directors and other agencies involved in providing mental health and recovery services.  The Executive Director reports directly to the CMHA Board of Directors. 
Required qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of five years’ management experience with nonprofit organizations, strong leadership experience and ability to supervise and collaborate with staff, experience with fiscal management including fundraising/grant writing, excellent written communication and public speaking skills, and an understanding of our mental health system and addiction. 
Desired qualifications include a history of establishing strong relationships with community partners/organizations and a high level of strategic thinking and planning.
