General Labor

Top Notch Cuts Tree Service is hiring for a general laborer position that pays $15 hourly. This is an entry level opportunity with room for growth. We are based in Carrollton, GA and typically work in a 30 mile radius. This is an outdoor job and will be hot during the summer and cold during the winter.

The job duties include:
•Following all safety policies and procedures, as well as wearing steel/composite toed boots. Chaps, gloves, safety vests, hearing protection, and helmet will be provided.
•Raking
•Operating blower
•Loading/unloading gear at beginning and end of the work day
•Being able to lift 50-75 pounds throughout the day with no issue
•Keeping the work site tidy
•Putting gas/oil in chainsaws and other equipment to keep the job moving smoothly
•Hooking up trailers
•Being flexible to assist crew lead and other workers where needed on job site
•Being motivated, accepting feedback and being willing to learn

This position will require driving at some point, so applicants must have a valid drivers license and a clean MVR.
Typical work days are Monday-Friday, with overtime on some weekends when the work load requires it. This position has a 90 day probationary period with frequent goal setting and training sessions with the owner and crew lead. We do not currently offer medical insurance, but after the initial 90 days offer PTO and life insurance/dental/vision policies through Aflac.
