UWG Investiture – Historial Exhibition

UWG's Investiture Week begins with the opening of “Then, Now, Next: Transforming Lives at UWG,” a historical exhibition exploring the rich history and enduring impact of the University of West Georgia. Through photographs, artifacts, and archival materials, the exhibition traces UWG's journey from its founding as the Fourth District Agricultural and Mechanical School to the dynamic university it is today. The kickoff event will feature welcome remarks from President Michael Johnson and Dean of Ingram Library Blynne Olivieri Parker, followed by guided tours of the exhibition. The exhibition will remain on display from 2-5 p.m. each day throughout Investiture Week, inviting visitors to reflect on the university's past, celebrate its present, and imagine its future.
