Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica, part of Tanner Health System, is an acute care hospital providing comprehensive medical services to the residents of Villa Rica, as well as northern Carroll County, western Douglas County and southern Paulding County.
The hospital is an accredited chest pain center, with around-the-clock access to interventional cardiac services for fast, life-saving heart care. It’s also a primary stroke center, providing fast treatment for strokes for neighbors throughout the region.
In addition to heart and stroke care, Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica offers 24-hour emergency care from board-certified emergency physicians, maternity services, minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical services, intensive and critical care, orthopedic care, ENT services, pediatric care, sleep medicine, gastroenterology services, hospitalist services for improved inpatient care, advanced diagnostic imaging services and more.
The hospital also offers a location for Tanner Breast Health, featuring 3-D digital mammography services, and access to the full continuum of care of Tanner Cancer Care. The hospital campus features the Tanner MS Center, providing specialized care for multiple sclerosis in an environment designed by patients with MS, as well as a host of primary and specialist clinics.
