Tanner Health is a five-hospital, nonprofit and community-based regional health system serving communities from the western suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, to the eastern edge of Birmingham, Alabama.

Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton, Tanner’s 199-bed flagship hospital, features a surgical center, the Adams Heart Center offering interventional cardiac care, maternity care and NICU services at the Sally and John Francis Tanner Neonatal ICU, 40-bed emergency department, ICU and advanced diagnostic imaging.
The campus also includes specialized centers for wound care, pain management, sleep disorders and cancer treatment at the Roy Richards, Sr. Cancer Center. The facility is a designated primary stroke center and accredited chest pain center. To improve access, construction is currently underway on a new 97,000-square-foot patient tower, which is expected to open in 2026.
